After School Program Recreation Leader - OPEN NOW
- Seeking bilingual Recreation Leader for John Gill's MI After School Program
- Hourly position, 20-25 hrs/wk, Monday - Friday
- After school until 4 PM: you will be speaking Mandarin while working with two other Mandarin-speaking staff to organize fun activities for a group of 20 Kindergarten and first grade children.
- 4 to 6 PM: you will join the English-speaking staff to guide the children for snacks, crafts, and outdoor play.

- love playing tag
- enjoy telling stories/ silly jokes
- are into folding paper airplanes and teaching techniques, but not actually folding them for the kids (even if they nag!)
- would like to paint along side the children and ask questions about their artwork (instead of just saying "Good Job!")
- can patiently observe children during Maker Time learn through making mistakes (and refrain from stepping in too early to help)
